There are more than 528.7 million people belonging to approximately 1,046 ethnic groups with 638 languages in North America. The statistics are changing every day and growing very quickly. There are Free Will Baptist Spanish speaking churches being started at a very rapid pace all over our continent. God is calling workers from these churches to start other churches. Please pray for these ethnic works across North America.
Jaime Hernandez and wife, Abigail, are serving as Associate Joint Project Church Planters with North American Ministries and the Indiana State Mission Board. Jaime has assumed the Hispanic mission pastorate at Primera Iglesia Baptista Libre in Elkhart, Indiana. Jaime and Abigail have four children, Daniela, Isaac, Juda, and Efrein. Pastor Jaime studied theology in Mexico City where he also served as pastor and director of a Bible institute for nine years. He has written several documents on family issues, youth, and discipleship.
Alfredo and Ruth Botello are Joint Project Church Planters with the state of Oklahoma and Free Will Baptist North American Ministries. Alfredo serves as the mission pastor of Comunidad Hispana Bautista Libre Church in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
Fernando Bustamante and wife, Reyna, are Joint Project Church Planters with North American Ministries and the South Carolina Mission Board. The burden of their heart is to plant Hispanic Free Will Baptist churches within the state of South Carolina. Their work has begun in Effingham. Their goal is to plant churches in the Florence and Myrtle Beach areas as well. Fernando and Reyna have one daughter, Mayan, who will be working alongside them in this project. Please remember this family as they continue this awesome task for the Lord.
Dr. Rufo and Maria Gomez are seasoned church planters and multiplication leaders. He has been involved in discipling and training ministerial students for years. Dr. Gomez has started churches in GA, FL and KY. He is beginning a mission work in the Smyrna area. From this work he hopes to send Spanish speaking church planters to other areas in the United States that have no Spanish speaking churches.
Josue and Cristina are ministering as Joint Project Church Planters with Free Will Baptist North American Ministries and the state of West Virginia. They enjoy leading the Iglesia Cristiana Roca de Salvacion in Charles Town, West Virginia. Josue and Cristina have four daughters, Brianna, Mia, Leah, Makayli, and one son, Josue, Jr. Please remember the Rivera family as they continue in this Hispanic ministry.
