Blaze New Trails.

Answer the Call.

Adventure. Outreach. Impact.

A new generation of students stepping into church planting, leadership, and Gospel mission across North America.

What is Frontier?

The Next Generation of Mission

Frontier Student Missions is a brand-new initiative designed to place students on the front lines of church planting and ministry leadership across North America. This isn’t a spectator experience — it’s a hands-on call to step into unfamiliar places, serve real communities, and discover the gifts God has placed in you.

From urban centers to underserved communities, Frontier sends students where the need is greatest — equipping them with mentorship, meaningful work, and a front-row seat to what God is doing.

We’re just getting started. And we’re looking for students bold enough to go first.

2 Timothy 1:6

Our Mission

“Frontier exists to engage students in church planting and ministry leadership, fanning into flame their gifts and callings and empowering them to blaze new trails in planting and leading churches across North America.”

Adventure. Outreach. Impact.

Adventure

We step beyond comfort zones into new cities, new cultures, and new ministry contexts — trusting God in the unknown.

Outreach

We engage communities with the Gospel, serve local churches, and participate in real church planting efforts.

Impact

We return home changed — clearer in calling, stronger in leadership, and ready to influence the future of the Church.

What we stand on

Core Values

Experience Over Explanation

Calling is clarified through experience. Students discover their gifts not just by hearing about ministry, but by stepping into church planting and leadership environments. We prioritize active participation that awakens calling and reveals potential.

Courage Over Comfort

Growth begins at the frontier. Leadership is forged when students step beyond familiarity and into new contexts. We cultivate bold faith, resilient character, and a willingness to go where the need is great.

Need Over Ease

The mission is in front of us. Across North America, communities need church planters, pastors, and lay leaders. We choose to move toward the need — not what is easiest or most familiar.

Pathway Over Peaks

Leadership starts now. We empower students to lead where they are while building a pathway toward long-term ministry — growing into church planters, pastors, and lay leaders across North America.

Experience → Courage → Awareness of Need → Clear Pathway

Why It Matters

Why Students? Why Now?

The future of the Church is being shaped right now — and students are at the center of it. When young people step into real ministry contexts, something shifts. Faith moves from theory to practice. Calling becomes tangible. Courage is built through challenge, not comfort.

Frontier is designed to be more than a trip. It’s a formational experience that plants seeds of lifelong ministry leadership. Students return with clearer vision, deeper faith, and a heart for the communities that need the Gospel most.

We believe that when students are sent to the frontier — the edge of what’s comfortable, the places where new churches are needed — God ignites something that lasts far beyond the experience itself.
