Travis and Melissa McKenzie
The McKenzie family is planting Compassion Free Will Baptist Church in Ashland, Ohio in partnership with the Ohio State Mission Board. Though there is a large evangelical presence in this north-central Ohio community, the McKenzies felt led to plant Compassion Church here because roughly 75% of the population is unchurched. This growing community is a mixture of blue-collar workers, college students, and farmers. The McKenzies are dedicated to reaching others for Christ in this quaint town through intentional community involvement and various outreach endeavors.
