Brandon and Shelly Smith
Brandon and Shelly Smith are lead church planters at Equip FWB Church in Hickory, NC. Before church planting, Brandon and his family ministered at Fairview FWB in Marion, NC. The Smiths have three sons – Landon, Jordan, and Joshua. Home of the Hickory Crawdads and the Hickory Motor Speedway, Hickory currently has 40,000 people. Sadly, over half of the population claims to have no religious affiliation at all, and a large percentage struggle with opioid addiction, making Equip a vital Gospel work of hope in this community.
