CH (CPT) Jonathan Truett
CH (CPT) Jonathan Truett serves as a Battalion Chaplain in the United States Army. He and his wife, Kendal-both graduates of Welch College, currently live in El Paso, Texas, where Jonathan is stationed at Fort Bliss. The Truetts both come from a rich legacy of Free Will Baptist ministry, and Jonathan sensed an early calling to full-time ministry. In 2015, during the Truth and Peace leadership conference, he first felt led toward Army chaplaincy—a call he affirmed during the Wednesday night missions service. Since then, he has passionately devoted himself to sharing the Gospel and providing spiritual support to his fellow soldiers.
